Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts to host two family-friendly Easter events

All kids are invited for some springtime fun!

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. – The Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, 2736 NY-30, Gloversville, will host two Easter-themed events for children of all ages and their families.

Festivities kick off with Easter Family Fun Day on Sunday, March 22, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Children can have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny before enjoying games, cookie decorating, crafts and an egg hunt on the Nigra Arts Center’s sprawling grounds. The event is $10 per child ages 2 and up. Babies under age 2 are free.

The Easter Bunny will return on Monday, March 23, for a special Sensory-Friendly Easter Bunny experience for children with special needs. The event, held in partnership with Transitions, a post-secondary program that supports young adults with autism and other learning differences in college, career and independent life, will take place from 3 to 6 p.m.

Families will enjoy a private, subdued environment where children can meet the Easter Bunny, take a keepsake photo, and participate in sensory-friendly crafts and activities. The event is free for children with neurodivergent conditions and their families.

Pre-registration is strongly recommended for both events. To register, please call (518) 661-9932, visit https://bit.ly/4ajP9dy for the Easter Family Fun Day or visit https://bit.ly/4re9lF0 for the Sensory-Friendly Easter Bunny event.
