About Adirondack Expressions Art Camp
The Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts (PNC), in collaboration with Transitions, a supportive Apprenticeship program for young men and women with learning differences, is the proud home of Adirondack Expressions, a summer art camp for young adults aged 15 - 27 with learning differences who love art and want to spend a week creating in the beautiful Adirondack mountains. Each summer, there is a one-week session where campers can expect to work on fun and educational art projects with experienced artists for teachers.
Adirondack Expressions Camp projects, activities and social events promote creativity, individual talent, choice, social interaction and self-worth. The Sunday to Friday camp sessions include housing in local supervised apartments, meals, activities and art classes at the Paul Nigra Center. Campers take two classes per day in topics such as painting, paper crafts, woodworking and photography. The rest of their days are rounded out with fun social activities. A typical day at Adirondack Expressions Camp looks like this:

10:00am Head to PNC

Adirondack Expressions Camp aims to inspire a lifelong passion for the arts and is open to all who want to cultivate their creativity, regardless of ability.
