Back by popular demand: another three-day camp at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts! Campers ages 5-10 are invited to celebrate Presidents’ Week with loads of fun through music, arts and crafts, baking and American history. Our instructors will present a different theme every day, with lots of hands-on activities designed to let creativity shine! Campers should bring their own labeled lunch and water bottle. Refrigeration provided.
Thursday, February 18: First Family Fun
This day’s activities are all about first families through history. The day will include a fun look at first ladies’ fashion, a taste of favorite presidential snacks and an opportunity for campers to make their very own Lincoln hat. Children will also learn about and paint America’s most popular first pets. Did you know they sell first family magnets in the White House Gift Shop? Well, campers will make their very own magnets they can take home.
